Granular Reviews FAQ:
When can you expect your article?
We will begin writing your article as soon as your submission is reviewed. You will
receive a notification from our team letting you know when we begin writing, and your
article will be published as soon as possible. If there is a backlog or delay, that will be
communicated through email.
How long will my article be?
300+ words for a normal submission, 600+ words for an album review. The better you fill out
the form provided, the more in-depth and accurate our article will be for you.
Do you accept AI submissions?
No we do not. Submissions that use AI as a mastering tool or in a minor capacity will be
accepted, but we will reject any submissions that made use of AI in a generative or
creative way.
Will we use AI to write your article?
Never! All of our work is written by our team at Granular to ensure you receive a
professional, well-written article that is personalized to your brand and project.
How do album reviews work, and how are they rated?
After submitting an album, our team will do a deep dive into your work. We will listen
for production quality, album structure, lyrics, instrumentals, etc.
Albums will be scored out of 100 points. 10 points for each of the following categories:
- Overall aesthetic (album cover, album title, track names)
- Album structure (cohesion, flow, etc.)
- Production quality
- Lyricism (if applicable)

- Instrumental performance
- Composition (songwriting quality)
- Authenticity & emotional connection
- Originality
- Replay value & listenability
How do I get my music onto the Granular-ed section?
The Granular-ed section is by invite only based on our submissions or based on artists
deserving special recognition that our team discovers. If your submission stands out during the
review and we think it belongs in the Granular-ed section, we will reach out to you via email
